Jamie and Carl met on a blind date, set up by their soon-to-be- Maid of Honor. Their date was on the Sunday of a three-day weekend, and they spent hours walking and talking that night. They also spend the next day together, and could hardly wait until the next weekend so that they could spend more time together. Jamie said after that, "that was it...we both just knew."
Carl took Jaime to meet his parents, who were living in Ireland at the time. He proposed with a beautiful ring, hidden inside a huge box, filled with high-density foam. As Jamie was opening the box, Carl moved around in front of her, and got down on one knee and proposed with all their families watching. This weekend, they will be married at the McKinley park School, after a four-year long engagement. The former McKinley Park School was constructed in 1910 and renovated in 1999. The ornate design and architecture of the interior is unique for indoor weddings and receptions. Now known as the McKinley Arts & Culture Center, it occupies an important place within the Truckee River Arts and Culture District in the City of Reno.We are so excited and welcome the opportunity to be there with Jamie and Carl as they are married.
