He said he was calling from the side of a road, sitting in his truck, not knowing what to do. He called to ask for some help with the planning of his wedding, so that he and his fiance would have the most spectacular and stress-free wedding day possible. He was especially concerned about his sweetheart, Maryah, and really wanted her to be happy on their wedding day.
His call touched my heart, and so, I was determined to help this amazing couple to have the wedding day of their dreams! With Arrowcreek Country Club being their final venue choice, we started planning, and incorporating all the fabulous details that Maryah had worked so long to complete.
With thunder clouds looming over downtown Reno, the weather, however, was clear and sunny at Arrowcreek...a perfect sign that it would be a simply amazing wedding day!
Three-foot high etched vases, held manzanita branches and votive candles, and indicated each table number, so that guests could find their seat placement. Red was maryah's chosen wedding color, accented with touches of black. Stunning and elegant, the ceremony was set and included a chandelier and a pattern of red rose petals making their way down to the altar location.
Eyes were filled with tears, as vows were exchanged, and a marriage had begun.
It was such a pleasure getting to know Maryah and Cody and be a part of their very special wedding day. We are grateful for each and every client with whom we have the distinct pleasure of working. We thank Cody for his phone call that day, from the side of the road....we now have a wonderful memory of helping to make his and Maryah's dream wedding come true!

Rya & Tyler's Wedding
To contact us Click HERE
Rya and Tyler chose the pristine, local ranch estate of Rancharrah as the place they would always remember where they said "I do." Bill Harrah's estate grounds never looked so amazing, in preparation for 250 of their closest friends and family members. Rya and Tyler's adorable little boy, Wesley, took part in the procession, riding in a little red wagon, pulled by the two flower girls.
In preparation for Rya and Typer's wedding and reception, Rancharrah's Crummer Grove was embellished with peacock feathers, and kelly green linens. Ceremony chairs were placed and guests gathered and watched as Rya made her walk down the aisle, on the arm of her brother.
Guests thoroughly enjoyed the photo booth, which provided Rya and Tyler with images of all their guests in attendance.
Candle-lit bird cages decorated each table, and a single peacock feather, placed under each place setting, continued the peacock theme.
Inside the Rancharrah Mansion, Rya and Tyler pose for the camera...great shot!
Rya and Tyler, It was such a true honor to assist you with your wedding coordination needs. It was wonderful getting to know you, and your sweet little Wesley. He has the most adorable smile of any little guy I know! Your wedding was a terrific memory for me, and I will always remember the beautiful glow on your faces, as you exchanged your wedding vows. My love and happy wishes to you as you begin your married lives together....xoxo Liane

A Smart Bride's Way To DIY

DIY Butterfly Cloche courtesy of Country Living Magazine Have you considered making centerpieces out of glass for your wedding day? The Butterfly Cloche above from Country Living Magazine would make a great highlight for a wedding featuring butterflies or nature themes. For the tutorial (and other great craft ideas) go to Country Living Magazine. Mini dome DIY project from Country Living Magazine No bride wants to get so bogged down in a diy project that her wedding planning starts to become work. For a bride planning a DIY wedding, choosing extremely difficult or time consuming projects takes away the fun factor! If you are looking for a less formal look, try these mini domes. They are made using glasses (turned upside down of course) with tiny keepsakes inside. Personalize your guests' wedding tables with 'a few of your favorite things.' To find the tutorial go to Country Living Magazine online. I love the personal look these give you. You don't have to use them for all the tables, but they would be cute added to your guest book table or other side table. The best part of these DIY projects? They are rated EEEBCDI (easy enough even Bill can do it). For those of you just starting to read my blog you may not realize I am not crafty, but my husband is worse. I mean he's great at some things, fixing things, putting things together, but not tiny little projects like this. So I test out the ease of the tutorial by having him try them out. If it's rated EEEBCDI, your groom should have no problem either, which makes these projects all the more fun. Or if you are all thumbs, they will be easy enough you can do them without the stress no bride to be needs during her wedding planning! Have fun, that's the whole point of this!

Melanie & Elric's Wedding

Melanie and Elric had a fantastic wedding day! Their wedding ceremony and reception were held at The Genoa Lakes Country Club, in Genoa, Nevada, just an hour south of Reno.Small live butterflies were released at the end of the ceremony and filled the sunset sky below the Sierra Mountain Range, just to the west of the ceremony location.
Their spectacularly delicious wedding cake featured the colors of the Fall season.
The rustic charm of the Genoa Lake Country Club was enhanced by all the creative touches that Melanie hand crafted. Small favor bags set at each place setting, were a nice treat for guests to take home.
Melanie handmade her centerpieces which included hydrangeas in bright orange, and eggplant colors, with copper curls and lighted twigs that made each table look magical.
Over the course of their wedding planning period, we established a close relationship with Melanie, and it was such a pleasure being there with her as she Elric were married. We are so excited for them, and know that they are meant to be together forever! xoxo Liane

Mellisa and Benjamin's Wedding
To contact us Click HERE
Mellisa and Benjamin came all the way from Atlanta, Georgia to be married at Edgewood Country club on the Southwest shore of Lake Tahoe.
It had to be one of the most spectacular November weather days in recent history. Mellisa planned for a cooler, sunset ceremony, providing baskets filled with beautiful shawls for all the lady-guests, hand warmers and two fire pits to keep everyone warm during the ceremony. They were appreciated, but not needed, as the evening was perfect.
As the sun began to set, the air was totally calm, and warm, with such silence, that you might have imagined that we were the only ones on the entire Lake! A flock of Canadian geese flew overhead just as Mellisa and Benjamin were married, with two geese floating on the water just behind them. It was truly magical.
We could not have asked for a more perfect day. With terrific vendors, including Ciprian Photography and Moonlight Mobile DJ, everyone had a terrific time celebrating with the bride and groom.
It was such a pleasure working with Mellisa as she prepared and looked forward to her wedding day. We wish her and Benjamin a wonderful married life and a future filled with overflowing love and happiness!
